GONE
Verse
Empty house, nobody home.
Sofas gone, disconnected phone
The choice I made , though right....
Still stings,
But I know deep down it will give me wings.
CHORUS
She's gone, but not forgotten. I think about the times we used to share.
But I, knew it was over. You don't believe me but I do this cause I care.
Verse
There's hardly a trace that you were here,
Just some unframed photographs from over the years.
I sit on the stairs just thinking alone.
What will my life be from this moment on?
CHORUS
She's gone, but not forgotten. I think about the times we used to share.
But I, knew it was over. You don't believe me but I do this cause I care.
CHORUS
She's gone, but not forgotten. I think about the times we used to share.
But I, knew it was over. You don't believe me but I do this cause I care.

Your Face
03:08
|
|||
It's strange without you here
Feels like I'm swimming in a pool filled up with pain and fear
Sometimes memories
sneak out of my eyes
And roll down my cheeks
Disguised as tears that I cried
Then I see your face and I start to understand
The reasons why you left me, why you went to another man
There's no more crying, no more worries no more pain
Just looking to the future and the memories there to gain.
Sometimes I feel
Like i can never get it right
Now matter how many times I try
You had your reasons
and baby I had mine
maybe its for the best
our love suspended inside time
Then I see your face and I start to understand
The reasons why you left me, why you went to another man
There's no more crying, no more worries no more pain
Just looking to the future and the memories there to gain.

Cocaine Cowboys
02:31
|

Friday Night,
what we got to do,
Get yourself down town mate
Try something new
40 bucks might
Just about get you a gram
Pull out your keys and call the lads
Let get this night on plan
Chorus
Because we're cocaine cowboys,
What we got to loose
There's nothing in this shattered world
That's Worth holding on to
Remember, No man is an island
Drifting out to sea
We've all got our own destinations
Somewhere that we all need to be.
Same goes for Saturday
Nothing round here's changed
Still all your crazy, messed up people
Still full of shit and still deranged
It's not the same as my day
We knew what was what
There's no one here that thinks like we do
This whole town has gone to pot
Chorus.
Because we're cocaine cowboys,
What we got to loose
There's nothing in this shattered world
That's Worth holding on to
Remember, No man is an island
Drifting out to sea
We've all got our own destinations
Somewhere that we all need to be.
Wake up Sunday morning
Feeling battered and abused
Can't remember much of last night
Who the fucks this bird
And where's my shoes.
But we'll do it all again
A carbon copy of before
Give me one good reason against
I'll give 10 good reasons For.
Chorus
Because we're cocaine cowboys,
What we got to loose
There's nothing in this shattered world
That's Worth holding on to
Remember, No man is an island
Drifting out to sea
We've all got our own destinations
Somewhere that we all need to be.

SUMMER SONG
Everybody, sing along
Join the masses
And sing this summer song
You don't need nothing only
Your body and your voice
So jump on board the non religious rejoice.
Instrumental
Too many people, Care what they all think
Hold your head up to the sky
It summer time lets drink.
The sun is setting, and the dancing has begun
Lose all your inhibitions
Let's have some fun.
Instrumental
Jaeger bombs exploding
Every single place we look
Everybody downing drinks
Then all throwing up.
We party through the night time
And now it's 6am
Eat then sleep then rave repeat,
and we’ll do it all again.
Instrumental
Everybody, sing along
Join the masses
And sing this summer song
You don't need nothing only
Your body and your voice
So jump on board the non religious rejoice.

Weekend

WEEKEND
Have you ever had that weekend.
You don't want it to end
Holding onto to the fibres
Trying hard not to snap it as it bends
The highs and the lows
The rise and the fall
The music makes your body dance
But your mind try to control it all
Her name was noël she had nowhere to go
So I put my arms around her and walked down the road
We laughed and we danced but then sunshine it rose
She disappeared out of my life and nobody seems to know where she may go
Chorus
Have you ever had that weekend.
You don't want it to end
Holding onto to the fibres
Trying hard not to snap it as it bends
The highs and the lows
The rise and the fall
The music makes your body dance
But your mind try to control it all
I went down to the same road where I met noël before
But she was nowhere to be seen as if she was never real at all
But I don't believe that, cos I've seen her and felt her warm breath on my neck
She wasn't just a dream and I'm not ready to forget
Chorus
Have you ever had that weekend.
You don't want it to end
Holding onto to the fibres
Trying hard not to snap it as it bends
The highs and the lows
The rise and the fall
The music makes your body dance
But your mind try to control it all
